Referring to your telegram of August 11th and to my despatch last on the subject of the staff of the Protectorate which you sent by the last mail I have the honour to inform you that you despatch of May 11th has been received and given due Consideration. No reason is seen for waiting for the interpretation question to be settled: It is intended to wind up the Registrar-Generalship and also to answer Mr Prussell's application - See minutes on 5869 and 10665 CPL.
